With a shop near every neighborhood, video stores have been the most convenient way to get movies for years. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. Let’s look at what you might find to watch using a movie download site.

What will be poor Casper’s fate?
Educating Rita: This is an amusing adaptation of Willy Russell’s level play in reference to a youthful working class spouse who desires to better herself, and chooses boozy professor Caine as her mentor. Cast includes Michael Caine, Julie Walters, Michael Williams, Maureen Lipman, Jeananne Crowley, and Malcolm Douglas. (110 minutes, 1983)
Metropolis: A private investigator and his nephew track a suspect to the futuristic Metropolis, meet a bizarre gal who is really an extremely commanding android, and decipher a message sent by a rebel forces leader who plans to take over the city. This is an amazing Japanese animated movie. It is written by Katsuhiro Otomo Akira, based on a visual novel by Osamu Tezuka called Astro Boy. Rich backdrops balance with cartoon looking lead characters, although dramatic storytelling and commanding visuals defeat film’s shortcomings. Cast includes Kei Kobayashi, Kohki Okada, Taro Ishida, and Kousei Tomita. (106 minutes, 2001)
Rhythm Thief: Immediately fascinating and arrogant ultra low cost picture of a distant although afflicted Andrews, who lives on N.Y.C.’s dirty Lower East Side and makes his keep by marketing tapes of illicitly copied music. The film is intriguing and seductive at times. It was filmed in 11 nights, for $ 11,000. Cast includes Jason Andrews, Eddie Daniels, Kevin Corrigan, Kimberly Flynn, Sean Hagerty, Mark Alfred, Christopher Cooke, and Bob McGrath. (99 minutes, 1995)
Prom Night: This is about exacting revenge on the boys who were accountable for the mortality of a little girl 6 years before. Not the poorest of its type, although that’s nothing to boast about. Cast includes Leslie Nielsen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Casey Stevens, Antoinette Bower, and Robert Silverman. (91 minutes, 1980)
Mrs. Brown: Gratifying drama set in the 1860s. Monarch Victoria Bench has been in grieving for years, following the death of her cherished spouse Albert; living in Windsor Castle, away from London and city life, she only comes out of her shell when her spouse’s believed Highland rider, John Brown Connolly, declines to pamper her. Mr. Nice Guy: Jackie Chan, a Television cook, is chased by 2 sets of men who are both after an incriminating videotape that’s fallen into his hands. One of Jackie’s better later films, set in Melbourne and, like most of his best films, an action comedy. Shimmering and arousing fights abound, the best and funniest orchestrated at a construction site. Cast includes Jackie Chan, Richard Norton, Miki Lee, Karen McLymont, Gamelle Fitzpatrick, and Vince Poletto. (113 minutes, 1997)
Peter Pan Return To Neverland: An animated family film of a Peter Pan adventure. Wendy’s daughter Jane is an unbeliever. When Captain Hook steals her away to Neverland, she must learn to believe if she wants to escape back to the real world.
For file downloads use a phrase like “Movie DVD Video Rental”. If that one doesn’t work try another one. See if “Movie Rentals” gets a better result.
